Add a "test" mode when first setting up your account.
Stripe.com does this really well. They have a test mode so that on dev and staging environments all feedback is logged in a 'test' set instead of the live production set of records.
A set up like this is ideal because then your analytics and list of users aren't skewed from testing and set up.

SSL should be standard on all plans for password protection
Says it all really - given the increasing switch to SSL (even Google search) and the low cost of implementing SSL - would be good if this could be included on packages other than your top of the range option? :) Or as an optional extra on them without requiring the other upgrades.

Customizable list of words to ignore to improve search results
I've been usability testing a test version of our ZenRep forums before they go live. Our users frequently use the product name as they are describing an issue (e.g., "Please do [some change] to [product]"). Because the idea filtering is based on an OR list of words, as soon as users type "[product]" 2 things happen:
The website speed crawls to a standstill, making it hard for them to continue typing and increasing their frustration.
A huge list of ideas appear that are no longer of any help whatsoever to them when looking for similar ideas.
I'd like to be…

Create an Address Book of my users
Several folks have expressed interested in an Address Book that would list all your contacts/users, information about them, and allow you to search for and add them to tickets.

Create a widget template that can be used with multiple forums.
We have multiple forums each with their own customized widget. It would be nice if we could create a single widget template that can be used for all forums.

Weekly digest - Daily is too often
A daily digest is too often for me. I would like to go through new ideas once a week.

Nested sub-categories
Currently we can only list one level of categories in feedback forums, which causes some confusion for our users, for example we have five categories for our Content Management System. Users prefer to have "Content Management System" at the top level then drill down to specific request i.e. "Content Management System --> Postings"
Thanks.

Allow admins to edit user information
Coming from a Community Management background, I am accustomed to having a variety of administrator tools on forums that aren't offered in ZenRep. Among these tools are more robust search features, and a consolidated user information page with the ability to edit user information.
At the present, I cannot search by individual forum and must scroll through multiple pages across four different lists (Voters, Given Access, Invited and Removed) to find users. The results of using the "Search ideas and feedback" feature under Feedback are missing this basic information.
Once a user has been found, I have no way to…

Add traditional discussion rooms for public questions and answers
The current "feedback" mechanism is good for messaging, but not great for users asking each other for help.
I'd like to allow/encourage our users to post support questions that they can help each other resolve (similar to how ZenDesk and Assistly do it)

Allow admins to add attachments to responses
Currently, attachments can only be added to ideas, not to admin responses or comments.

Be on the lookout for updates soon.

Be able to export comments with ideas
Right now you can only export comments with the general export. And those comments are in a separate file.
It would be ideal if admins could export ideas along with comments. This would save time (not have to match the two up), and make it much simpler when reviewing exported data.

Ability to sign in using Microsoft Live ID
It would be nice to provide the option of authentication to this site with one's Microsoft Live ID, especially considering you offer Google authentication.

Ability to remove users access to a private Forum when pulling up their profile after a search
You can remove a user's access to a specific private Forum only if you're viewing the list of users for that Forum.
If an Admin searches for a specific user, they don't have the option to control their Forum access from that profile view.
For a small Forum, with a limited number of users, this isn't a huge deal. But if an Admin has over a 50 users on a Forum, this gets tedious (and takes too much time).
Ideally, if an Admin searches for a user, when they open the profile, they should have the option to remove the…

Customize the "Give Feedback" and "My feedback" labels
In our application (for internal idea submission), we would rather call the areas "Submit an Idea" and "My Ideas." Is there any way to change this? Staff are confused by "contact support" when that would really be contacting oru group that monitors internal ideas, whereas support is usually for IT related items. In terms of giving feedback, they are giving ideas...not feedback. It would be great if we could customize these labels so they were more intuitive for our internal use.

Facilitate integration with Trello (trello.com)
They have a REST API - we use Trello to manage sofware projects & it would be nice if ZenRep was able to create items in Trello automatically.

Make the idea description text box bigger
When entering a lengthy description, it's hard to get an overview of what you wrote because the text box is so small and doesn't expand. You have to scroll and are only able to see a few lines of text at a time.

Customize default category that appears in widget pop up
Is there a way, if not can you add a way, to allow to restrict the default listings of ideas in the widget popup to a "category" within a specif forum? We're trying to have our other sites add the widget to their page, but allow them to specific the default category of ideas which show up. This way it provides ideas that are more relevant to the visitors of that site, which can be used as a hook to get them to submit ideas to other categories they might not have considered...now that they're in the tool.
Thanks
